Oleander by Jennifer Allis Provost

4.0

As usual I will start by reviewing the cover photo. I really loved it. It is absolutely gorgeous and eye-catching. This book has fantastic world-building and the author has done a great job in writing about Occult practices like witchcraft and astral projection. It all felt so real. She has also included paranormal elements like ghosts in the story.

I enjoyed reading 'Oleander' by Jennifer Allis Provost. It was a fast-paced and engaging story that kept me hooked from the first page to the last. The plot was well-crafted and full of twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. The characters were likable and relatable, especially Eli, who was a strong and smart heroine with a witty sense of humor. I also liked the romance between Eli and Dan who was supportive and protective of her.

The book also explored some interesting themes, such as the role of fate and free will, the balance between light and dark, and the importance of family and friendship. I liked how the author incorporated elements of mythology, folklore, and history into the story, making it more rich and diverse. The book also had some humor and action scenes that added to the entertainment value.

Overall, I think 'Oleander' by Jennifer Allis Provost is a great read for fans of paranormal mystery and romance. I would recommend it to anyone who likes books with magic, mystery, and love.
