Leftenan Adnan Wira Bangsa by Abdul Latip Talib

adventurous dark emotional inspiring reflective sad tense slow-paced

4.25

The start was so sloww.

There was no reason for nordin character build up to be that many pages when he's not even an important character.

But the latter part of the story is good. The angst and suspense is immaculate. This book is very well researched and the part about the war was so interesting. Seeing their reasoning for their strategy and trying to read their opponent's next move.

But it's weird how the author keep saying " air mata lelakinya jatuh" when adnan is crying. Like??? Is there gender for tears now?

Also i think the author left out about Amarullah. They never mentioned what happened to him. Even before the war adnan can't seem to contact him. But overall a very interesting and enganging story just need to cut down the front a bit.
