The Queer Principles of Kit Webb
by Cat Sebastian
This was a fun time.
Percy was the kind of character, posh and vain, who could have easily been irritating but I thought he was great and immensely entertaining. Kit was also a good character, more solemn than Percy but they balanced each other well.
I appreciate that we got the impact Kit's leg injury had on his daily life. There's also some discussion of class and the impact that has on personal freedom and some commentary on the misuse of power by the aristocracy, as well as touching on the discrimination faced by queer people. It's not heavy, this is mostly a light hearted fun novel, but as it's a historical I'm glad it at least mentioned what queer people would have faced back then.
The high way robbery stuff was all a lot of fun though.
