4.5 stars. Another page turner by Blake Crouch. Not as titillating as Recursion or Run, but really good. What cost would you be willing to pay to save humanity from complete ruin? Losing one person? One hundred? One million? A billion? This question is volleyed along with the definition of being human. One of my favorite quotes was something like: I realized free will doesn’t exist because we can’t choose our passions, only whether we act upon them. Amazing author. Reading through his entire collection.
