It's Beth's first and only season on the marriage mart. She and her mother will only be able to afford this one chance, so Beth must marry well to assure their future. Gwen has been out for sometime now. Luckily, her wealthy bachelor father is happy to float them along while she goofs off through the season. When Gwen and Beth meet sparks fly and not just between them, but their parents as well? This book is Bridgerton x The Parent Trap.

I absolutely adored this book!! The characters were incredibly lovable and the conflicts were never quite what I expected them to be. The book also consistently moved on the second it risked getting slow or repetitive. The romance was lovely and ALSO the additional romances were swoon-worthy as well! This also had EASILY the best epilogue I have ever read. It is more perfect than I can express.

I will say this was less spicy than I expected! I didn't mind at all, but I know how people love their spice. This book relied much more on the PINING which is my personal favorite.

This book would be great for fans of historical romance told in a modern way, Bridgerton, The Parent Trap, or sapphic books
