Love love love. What a powerful real and raw book. First: I loved how each character was narrated by a different voice. The structure of this book was just fantastic.
This might be one of my favorite books I’ve read. Peoples stories are fascinating and to see into their lives like this was so powerful.

Music can dig, you know? It can take a shovel to your chest and just start digging until it hits something. That night, singing that, just reaffirmed that I wanted to put out an album of my own songs.”
