“Ordinary boy?”
“No!”
“Wonderful boy?”
The most enchanting of books. A cloud of fairy dust puffs out from every page you turn, taking you back to that Neverland in your mind you have not touched since you yourself were Wendy's age. My grandmother read this to me when I was little, and revisiting this secret childish world as an adult has only charmed me more. Peter Pan is so brilliantly written, as it is, above all, a fairytale. A bedtime story tailor-made to be told -- as a general hater of audiobooks, I really cannot recommend one enough. Beyond the glamour of magic and the thrill of adventure, this is the tragic story of the most misunderstood little boy there ever was. I love him dearly, and can only hope others will give him the chance to endear himself to them as he did me. It is impossible to travel to Neverland and not adore Peter; just ask Wendy.
