I actually cried for Eva. Her story is so heart wrenching. This book has far more action than the first and as first it was a little messy but it gets it together by 30% and the story really flows from there. Kace is okay as a MMC, he's really broody and has a traumatizing backstory that I don't think we get enough into. I did really enjoy this and I can't wait to get to the next one!
