Astra Lost in Space, Vol. 1 by Kenta Shinohara

4.0

Typically when I review shonen manga, it comes with a qualifier. “I liked it well enough for a shonen manga.” In this case, however, I just flat out liked the book. The art was excellent, the characters are well established, and the plot is intriguing. Plus, it was laugh out loud funny on multiple occasions. And, since the entire series is only 5 volumes long instead of 500, I actually might read past volume 1. All in all, one of my favorite mangas I’ve read in the past few years.
