DNF’d with 50 pages left. I haven’t DNF’d a book in almost a decade. I had such high hopes for the plot, but the writing was childish and the characters fell flat. By the time I got 85% of the way through I knew there wouldn’t be an ending, and I was not going to move on with the series. If I saw one more exclamation point I might have exploded into an irrational violent rage like the MMC.
