This book was so much better than ACOTAR and I’m so glad, this is what ACOTAR had the potential of being.

I loved this book, everything just seemed to flow so much better. There was lots of action, tension and of course romance (Illyrians have impressive wingspans apparently 👀).

I loved Rhys and Feyre’s relationship. It built really nicely and they are such an adorable couple, I love their banter. In ACOTAR I thought Feyre and Tamlin’s relationship happened very fast, there wasn’t much conversation between them or time spent together before they were apparently in love!

I also got to meet Cassian, Azriel, Mor and Amren for the first time and I love them all to pieces. They’re the perfect wee family. It was nice to finally read about relationships actually forming and character development, which I think ACOTAR was lacking.

Btw Nesta is better than Elain 🤫

I thought though Lucien and Elain being mates was a bit cliche 😬 Cassian and Nesta are 🔥 but Lucien and Elain just seem a bit bland to me 😬

The ending of this book was insane, it was so, so good and my heart was breaking. I’m so excited to read the next book, that was such a cliffhanger! Wow it was so good 😂 but again Sarah stuck so much into such a short space and I think the ending could have been really dragged out, like what happened in ACOTAR. I think that’s my only disappointment from this book.

In conclusion, Tampon’s a prick, Feyre is goals, Feyre and Rhys are the dream couple, I love the Night Court, and Nesta and Cassian are 🔥
