Author gets -10 000 points for having a hero who literally thinks of women who are not the heroine as, and I quote, "the pretty, but empty shell that was most marriageable women he'd encountered." F*** you, Griffin.
A lot of awkward language, stupid motivations, and a Misunderstanding based in the characters not speaking to each other. All pet peeves of mine, so I wouldn't recommend this.
