Howards End
by E.M. Forster
I don’t really know what to make of this book. It basically took me 11 months to read the first 200 pages and then I finished it all in two days.
It’s like I could never find these people interesting and I’m not sure whether it was the characterisation or just the narrative. It was dull, most of the time I was reading and thinking “I don’t care about this.” But then second half was so much more dynamic and interesting, and I quite enjoyed it. So I’m not sure.
I’m not good with British Classics, I must say. And books about families and relationships and houses... idk. It was a bit different but it’s still a gente I struggle a lot.
