Age of Death by Michael J. Sullivan
4.0
If this was the first book in a series of two, or maybe if I'd had a gap between reading the books, I think this would have easily been 5 stars. But because its the fifth book of six, it felt as though it dragged on a little - I'm too eager to now see how it all ends.
Story Telling - Great pacing, swaps between the 2 to 3 story lines really well.
Characters - Seeing the characters in Rel & Niefrel has been really interesting, its shown a different side to the characters, some more depth into who they are, who they could have been and potentially who they may become.
World Building - Its really interesting to hear more about how everything started. I always leave the story line with the Frey's wanting more - but the titbits into their political system & scheming is very enjoyable.
Excited to read the sixth and final book!
