I do love this series and all the characters, and am enjoying watching them develop over the course of the books. This one was much more of a police procedural than a particular mystery, although it was enjoyable watching Isaiah figure things out. This one was a little too graphic for me, and I did skip the particularly violent sections, but the developments in secondary characters Deronda and Dodson were a bonus. There was a small cliffhanger at the end, which I don't particularly like-I would have read the next book anyway! Do read the series in order.
