The Iron Trial by Holly Black, Cassandra Clare

5.0

When I started reading this book I thought that this was maybe meant for a little younger readers, but I was proven wrong. I didn't get bored reading this. The plot is absorbing and you always want to know what's going to happen next!

I really want the next book of the series already. I can't wait.

And then I think I have to tell my opinion on it's potterness: Of course I could see why it's discussed so much. There are similarities. And yeah I can say that sometimes it was almost bothering me. But after all it's not the same! It's probably going to be a forever curse on all the books about magic schools. Nobody is going to write a book about a school for wizards/mages/whatever they are called in the book without the book being compared to Harry Potters. Let's try to understand this.
