Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

------
Stargirl is unusual. She is different. She is free. She is true.
------
Stargirl is a short and easy read told from the point of view of Leo Borlock. It follows him interacting with Stargirl, everyone's personal cheerleader, his and Stargirl's story, and it gives a nice view of how a "normal" person would view someone considered different. Although short, sweet, and rather simple, I found it relatable when Stargirl changes herself to be normal and to be liked.

Overall, this story was enjoyable and I read it in less than 12 hours. I would recommend it to people who enjoy simple, easy reads, and to someone who enjoys short meaningful books. (I will say Leo got on my nerves sometimes).
