pre read: i can't wait to read this. also the cover is MAGNIFICENT!! HELLO????!!!!
--------------------------------
i didn't know chuck tingle could WRITE so well. from the start, the story sucked me in right away. the reveal & mystery & body horror is 100% on point btw. i loved the concept of the book.
my only complaint would be that it all feels a little too convenient — the solution a little too easy. and there is a lacking in how the side characters were developed. not to mention, i want to know what happens after this. it felt like things wrapped a little too fast without much exposition or explanation i.e.what is going to happen to the children at the camp? what about their parents? i think this could have been avoided if you only added like a 100 pages more to it. but i enjoyed it nonetheless!
