Seraphina
by Rachel Hartman
Seraphina has a terrible burden placed upon her, she is stuck in the middle of the war between humans and dragons because she is both. She thinks herself to be an anomaly among creatures and has to hide her dragon side from the rest of humanity. Through always hiding she finds love and understanding and friendship along the way.
The setting was wonderful for this type of story; it had a medieval feeling to it that rooted dragons into the setting. Seraphina was a wonderful character with a conflicting personality and courageous spirit. To go through everything she had to and still be as compassionate and strong was amazing. Kiggs was a great character too with his understanding nature and strive to do the right thing. I am excited for the story to continue on in the sequel.
