This was a buddy read with a friend and we both absolutely loved it! We had some nice conversations throughout our read.
There were so many things to love about this story
1- the Storm: slowly devouring the large town/village. Even cooler when you learn what it is; it’s origin story.
2- the magic system. Drawings, a language of its own.
3- the enemies/friends. Found family. Enemies to lovers to enemies… maybe back to lovers in book 2….
And so much more. I can’t wait for book 2 and more from this author.
