I really wanted to like this book but I simply couldn’t. While Perry did not bother me, she certainly did not help. I also didn’t appreciate Dex. I was certainly spooked during some moments but overall this book was disappointment and a big meh. I liked the lighthouse story but I’m a characters kind of person through and through and the characters here did nothing for me to like the book.
