I Know What You Did Last Summer
by Lois Duncan
I read the updated version, but now kind of want to read the original version if I can find it somewhere.
Honestly, I liked the movie better (I know I know a readers sin) but I like the feeling of horror like in the movie but the book felt more like a soft thriller. I would like a version of this but with my juice to it and more scares.
It is a YA book so really what do I expect but I think it could redone is a more interesting and bloodier way.
Also some parts felt repetitive. So didn’t love that. And Helen wasn’t a baddie like she felt like in the movie but also SMG is an iconic so what do we expect in that.
Over all 3/5 stars
