A Doll's House
by Henrik Ibsen
This was an... almost tragedy (in the renaissance literature sense of the word). And that is possibly the best way I could describe it. I am thrown between being happy, frustrated, and utterly ruined by the ending of "A Doll's House" and my heart is still somewhat tight. Ibsen does an amazing job creating a world and destroying it just as quickly through mostly the dialogue of the characters. The play is simple, beautiful, and frighteningly real. Just be prepared to be conflicted over the ending.
