A Darkness Absolute by Kelley Armstrong

4.0

I'm a huge fan of this series, and I really liked this second installment. The only thing that I might have preferred was for the killer to be outside of Rockton. I actually suspected the killer from the beginning simply because they were able to narrow it down so quickly. The story was still well-written with plenty to keep me entertained despite feeling pretty confident in who the killer was. I really like Casey and Eric's relationship. It's perfect for them, and I like how they are so communicative in a realistic way. I'm interested in seeing where the next story takes us because I would really really like something with the hostile's or even just the normal settler's outside of Rockton. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars and can't wait for the next one!
