A Lady for a Duke had so much sweetness, longing, and moments of vulnerability within its pages. The first half of the book had me crying like every other chapter. I adored the care put into Viola and Gracewood, their relationship to one another, and their relationships with their family. And god what a great twist to the childhood friends to lovers trope, it had me on my toes.

A small part of me wished for more from the second half of the book, since the romantic in me wanted more sweet moments between Viola and Gracewood. It just all felt a tad too fast for me, but damn was I still hooked. The book was easy to read and become invested in!
