 »The Midnight Library« ist »Reasons To Stay Alive« in fiktionaler Form und sagt im Kern auch nichts anderes aus: Matt Haig gibt seinen Leser*innen all die Gründe, die für ihn das Leben lebenswert machen. Er gibt uns Hoffnung, dass in uns das Potenzial für so viel Tolles und Großartiges schlummert. Der Weg dorthin ist nicht immer einfach und manchmal bedarf es auch mehrerer Anläufe, bis wir den Weg gefunden haben. Aber der Weg ist immer begehbar.
