Agnes Grey by Anne Brontë

3.0

I loved the style of writing, and the character studies, but the plot was rather predictable. The inevitable end was rather sweet, if understated, although that is consistent with the characters in question. Definitely not up to the calibre of Wuthering Heights or Jane Eyre, but enjoyable and diverting.
