I read this purely for the fact that the MCs, Miguel and Summer, appear in Young Justice vol. 3 and possibly vol. 2. I had no idea what I was getting into. The art was intriguing but the story line didn't initially catch me when I learned that it was part of the Wonder Comics line up. But I am so, SO happy I gave this book a chance. I genuinely enjoyed Miguel and Summer's seemingly platonic chemistry and seeing how as we got to know them they grew as people. Additionally the brand new characters that quote "Have never been seen before, and might never be seen again..." that really hooked me. Seeing different art styles when theses characters were introduced made me feel like the creative team really, truly cared about the book they were creating. I def will check out vol. 2 when I have the chance and I hope to see more of this book and the character around in the future.
