Just grabs you emotionally

This book will get you right in the gut! The writing here is so fantastic that there were countless times I felt my stomach clenching for one or the other of the main characters, especially Justin.

I’ve always believed that MMM stories are hard to write so I have a great appreciation for someone who can do it well. It’s a delicate balance to be able to construct the relationship and make it seem organic and not forced, balanced and not pushed. The construct and the insecurities here are well plotted. They feed the story arc and help it move forward in a believable way.

All three main characters, Shawn, Justin and Keith work their way into your heart. You can feel the emotions they are feeling and you ache for them when things get rough.

There is also humor and there are points you really want to throat punch someone. And the hockey action is great which really made me happy. A pet peeve of mine is sports romances where there is no actual sport happening!

This is a fun series and I look forward to reading book three.
