Six of the most talented and powerful magicians are carefully selected every ten years, and invited to be initiated into the secret and elite Alexandrian Society, where untold power and ancient forgotten knowledge await, but knowledge is carnage, and only five of the chosen may become members...

The Atlas Six is hyped, very hyped. I have seen an awful lot on social media, and it always seems to have a place on bookshop tables. I was thrilled to discover this hype is well deserved. Told through the perspective of multiple characters, each with their own motives, agendas, and secrets, The Atlas Six manages to form a beautiful world of magic while also developing a whole host of realised, whole characters.

I would hate to spoil anything, so I won't go any further on the plot, but I adored this superbly written book and can't wait to read the next in the series!
