The Sinking City by Christine Cohen

5.0

I couldn’t put this book down. The world is fascinating and the characters three-dimensional. The story left me with questions about the Seleni and plague. Spell magic isn’t my favorite, but there are limits in place, which I found refreshing, as spells are often treated as limitless. I appreciate Liona’s journey toward putting others before herself and not running away from her problems. Cohen is an incredible writer.
