Batman: Curse of the White Knight by Sean Murphy

4.0

This was cool.
It's definitely not going to be my favorite take on the batman any time soon, but it had a lot of good emotional hits that were really powerful.
It wasn't afraid to show that Bruce had lost himself, but that he still felt things deeply. And that becoming too lost in being Batman was the wrong way to go.

I see a lot of elements of the new film drawn from this, in terms of just ... not focusing on where the Wayne fortune is being spent, and not running his own company. I think that it's a really interesting story and I'm wondering if I should look into the Harley White Knight follow up or not, and then I'm going to need to reread the issue one of Batman Beyond White Knight because it's going to have a lot more impact to me now.

I did also really enjoy the Von Fries story that was added to this, and I felt like it was a really interesting take on the character.
