Radio Silence by Alice Oseman
4.0

So. This was really good!
Actual rating: 4.25-4.5 stars.

This was something that everyone’s been talking about lately and has been becoming noticed again more since it’s a couple years older.

I enjoyed the story that we were getting. I liked the characters. I loved how diverse this was. How romance isn’t a huge piece of it. It’s more focused on friendships which is wonderful. It does so well talking about mental health and what’s important for yourself is to do things that make you happy and not something just because it’s expected of you. I found that to be a wonderful message that we get with it.

My biggest issue with this in itself was the fact that I didn’t read this physically. Since it was an ebook it was easy enough to go and pick up when I had my phone. But I leave ebooks for slow times at work. It’s my sanity at times for work. So the hard part was that I wasn’t reading this everyday or reading this quicker. I feel like if I read it as a physical book it would’ve got importance with my reading. It was easy to fly through when I would because how it’s short chapters and all. But I did still not 100% jive with the ebook format even though I really liked the story.
