Where was this book/author when I needed it most in high school?
This book was phenomenal.
This book made me proud to be a woman.
This book made me excited to be a girl mum.
This book gave me hope.
I’m not a big YA reader but this book had me in all the feels. Sad. Proud. So happy I had to cry. So simply written but you felt like you were there. Watching it all, feeling those same emotions as the characters.
Please encourage your girls to read this. I will be gifting it to as many young bookshelves as possible.
