This really surprised me. A sort of horror story about loneliness and developing trauma, exploring the nuances of storytelling and cultural appropriation from the perspective of a self-righteous white woman and a complicated relationship with a dead friend. Dang. One of those where you just hate the narrator but can’t help but empathize with her sometimes.
