I wasn't sure if I would like this book or not as I was worried the reading level would be a little too low for an adult to still be able to enjoy for a book in it's own right. I was dead wrong. Just the right amount of thinking but all of the fantasy a girl could want. The incorporation of various mythologies into one work (which I know will continue in the rest of the series) is fascinating to me.
