I really liked this one - it was my first Jenn Plummer book and my only gripe was that it was a novella. It was pretty much done in the blink of an eye.
Given how short it was, there was a good balance of story and smut - and I was thoroughly entertained. I don't think there was a lot of depth to the characters but I would've loved to have this be a full length feature.
I've talked about the smut right? It was hot n' heavy; very enjoyable. There's some guest appearances from tertiary characters and I'm excited to go back & explore the series.
If you're a first time reader & if loose threads bother you, then I suggest you start the series in the right order. I've never read this series and I felt a bit left out when some of the other characters made guest appearances. However, this is the tiniest of gripes - it's a great read, will defo recommend.
