I’ve read each of the books in this series and keep coming back, so it’s my own fault.... at around 80% she yanks your heart out and slowly puts it back together with a HEA at about 95%.
Lincoln and Indie are perfect for each other. Both are competitive elite athletes who know what it takes to play at this level. It’s awesome how Lincoln organizes the other athletes to support the women’s soccer team and change their profile on campus.
Once Lincoln makes it to the minors I was pleasantly surprised who his first roommate is and enjoyed seeing them bond. The time apart for Lincoln and Indie is harsh to read, and I wish this didn’t happen in each of Meghan’s books because I feel as emotionally connected as these characters are they would be able to find a way to keep a long distance relationship alive.
Still a great read, just with a big emotional hit before you get to the HEA and I wish there was more of them written once they find each other again.
