I liked, but didn’t love this new Summer’s book. It’s about a girl who yearns for more than the life she was given. She wants something she feels her mom kept from her, but she doesn’t understand the full context of what her mom had or why she tried to keep her daughter from it. Basically her mother worked at a resort and the main character, Georgia wanted to work there too. She doesn’t understand what her mom hated about it or why her mom never thought she was good enough to work there too. There’s a murder mystery in this book as well as building a picture of Georgia’s mom’s life after her mom passed from cancer.
