This book is a perfect expression of grief and how one deals with it. I saw myself in the main character because I lost a parent and I have gone through everything that he did...Well with the exception of finding an angel that fell from the sky. I understood the main character's anger towards family members because he thought they got over their grief easier than he did. I was the same way (still am) because I still breakdown over the loss of my parent. Grief is complex thing that is different for each person. I felt that this book tackled it in a positive away and I really enjoyed it.
