The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson

4.0

This book mixes identity, belonging, deception, and want all together in a way that is very enticing. Rereading this, I feel a little less dazzled- the pacing is clunky, and some pieces (like the guns) are harder to believe than multiverse travel. Despite some flaws, the journey as a whole felt exciting, sad, and comforting, as Dell finds a place in the world she never expected.
