I guess the real underlying issue I have with this book is; Why?
Why cure love? What kind of weird thought process ends up with love being the basis for illness? Is there even a government in this world? If so, how do they control a million little blocked off towns? How does this world work when none of the cities can connect or communications with one another?
Clearly, curing love does nothing in the way of controlling people considering there are always sympathizers and people who rebel against it and that even kids realize how weird it all is even though all of their family members have been cured...
I am so confused...
