I might be in the minority here, but no way can this count as romance.

A man has his life stolen because another couldn't let his love go? His life is not just stolen, he's possessed and tormented for five years - visions of a woman he doesn't know, things he doesn't remember wanting. God, my heart just broke for Theo. I really, really failed to see the romance in this situation.

Also, can I say how much I hate it when author's mask rudeness and insensitivity as sass and snark? Megan is struggling to get over her beloved husband's death and as someone who herself has mental issues what right does she have to be downright awful to Theo? Especially after being told that he was in an accident which traumatized him enough that he chose to be mute? She goes on calling him a vampire, jerk, asshole and what not. It infuriated me. So he's quite, he's grumpy but he's struggling. How can you not see that?

I thought the book had potential but it was a disappointment. A major one at that.
