I cannot believe I never heard about this case before this book! I love the time period and true crime-how the heck did I miss this? Corey Mead highlights a case filled with soap opera level drama and enough adventure to satisfy adrenaline lovers. This should be a movie and I'm amazed no one has tried yet-this story should be as well known as Amelia Earhart's or Charles Lindbergh's, especially considering they were contemporaries. A great read for anyone who loves true crime.
