This book is 100% YA, very young YA. I would say 7th and up. I found the writing to be all over the place, the dialogue lackluster, and the pacing not consistent. We would lag on a plot point for too long, then get kicked into supersonic warp speed. Unique concept, definitely belongs in a classroom library.
