This book was exactly what was promised in the intro. It was a very different way of looking at the novel writing process. I have to admit I'm skeptical about some of the advice given considering just how against the grain it goes to what works for everybody else. That said, I will be giving some of his suggestions a try, just to see if going against the grain is the best way to increase productivity in the long run.
There are some really good nuggets of advice about remembering your passion and your inner sense of story that self-published authors can sometimes forget in the midst of all the marketing and business information out there.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has been struggling with writing marketable fiction or gotten stuck in whatever process they are trying to make work. It's different enough that it helped me jump start the project that I've been stuck on for months. Take a look if you are interested in something a little out of the ordinary.
