Love Online by Penelope Ward

4.0

I finished this book in one sitting. I haven't done that in forever! Granted, I usually don't sit still for that long (my boyfriend was fishing LOL).

The online aspect of this book reminded me of Gentleman Nine. History shows that I tend to like Ward and Keeland together more than I like them apart so I need a book by the two of them asap :)

This book was unexpectedly adorable! I liked how much Ryder and Eden were effected by each other, especially Ryder. It's so unexpected especially because of his status/looks. I thought the plot twist of his ex was well timed and pretty spot on. It's late, but overall this book was a super cute and quick read. It's not a favorite of mine, but I devoured it in one sitting so I clearly liked something about it. One thing that stands out that I HATED was the first time they hooked up... "I'm on the pill, it's okay." It's one of my most hated lines in all new adult novels. I don't know why I hate it so much. Maybe because it never really goes down like that? It just makes me cringe. I pretty much skipped that whole scene because of it. Again, overall this is a super cute read but the reads that Keeland and Ward do together tend to stick with me a little more for some reason.
