This book was wild. I started it thinking it would be like the terrible monster movies I love, but it was so much better. There was an odd amount of bodily fluids and genital focus for me personally, but not so much that it took away from the book at all. Listening to the audio version was a treat, and also forced me to listen at a slower rate than I read, so I was more focused and immersed in what was happening. I will read this again
