I loved Shiver, and in spite of my age, 68, became a lifelong fan of Maggie Stiefvater, when I first read it years ago.  I picked it up by mistake, my brother having recommended a 'wolf book' to me, and I made sure my daughter and  grandchildren read it too. It is not unusual for me to venture into ya or even children's books, but there has to be something special to keep me there. What I love about Shiver is the beautiful connection between  Grace and Sam.  I loved the narration (David LeDoux and Jenna Lamia , and lastly I love Maggie's almost poetic prose.
This has an intriguing perspective of what werewolves are.
