Page 222 did it for me. my first tears of the book. I really evolved with the different personalities of this book and did find myself focusing on the era of each chapter. The one thing that surprised me was the rebellious nature…not having to do with the War but within the family. It may have come across as selfishness but at the end discovered it was only about finding yourself. I wish I got that feeling from the start.
